My Volunteer job
On September 28, 2016, I went to the Richmond Hospital for a volunteer job. The job is helping Richmond Hospital Foundation to pick up donation calls and recording. A few interesting call had caught my attention. Some were funny and some were very shocking. For example there is one man wanted to donate five hundred dollar but his wife really wanted to donate one thousand and they had a one minute talk while I was still on the phone. It was quite funny listening something like that. Another example was an old lady that doesn't know how to spell, so we cannot record any information include name and address. We couldn’t do anything about it. From these phone calls, I realised that in Vancouver there are a lot of good natured people that wants to donate. From this experience I learned how to communicate and how to solve instant problems from the calls. I would love to volunteer more next time.
