2023考研英語(yǔ)翻譯方法詳解(2)

在考研英語(yǔ)中，閱讀定位句和翻譯中經(jīng)常會(huì)出現(xiàn)長(zhǎng)難句，到底該怎么斷句以及怎么翻譯呢?英語(yǔ)和漢語(yǔ)不一樣，不能詞的順序一個(gè)一個(gè)翻譯。需要先斷句，理清句子結(jié)構(gòu)，將一個(gè)長(zhǎng)的句子可以斷成好幾部分。先翻譯每一部分，然后再整合起來(lái)。那么在整合的過(guò)程中勢(shì)必就會(huì)出現(xiàn)調(diào)整語(yǔ)序。比如，定語(yǔ)從句、狀語(yǔ)從句的翻譯以及短語(yǔ)做定語(yǔ)的情況。

例2：They found that people working with robots //that showed vulnerability //spent more time talking with their fellow humans //than did those in the control groups.

【主干】 They found +賓語(yǔ)從句。

【修飾成分】 that people working with robots that showed vulnerability spent more time talking with their fellow humans than did those in control groups 是賓語(yǔ)從句，主干為 people spent more time talking with their fellow humans。working with robots 是 V-ing 短語(yǔ)作后置定語(yǔ)，修飾 people。that showed vulnerability 是定語(yǔ)從句，修飾 robots。than 后的部分發(fā)生了完全倒裝，正常語(yǔ)序應(yīng)為 those in the control groups did，其中，those 指代的是 people，did 是對(duì) spent time talking with their fellow humans 的替換。

【翻譯】他們發(fā)現(xiàn)，與示弱機(jī)器人一起玩游戲的參與者比對(duì)照組的參與者花更多時(shí)間與其人類同伴交談。
