Xavier is lucky enough to have it's on Pharmacy School. You can graduate from Xavier with your Ph.D in Pharmacy within 6 years. Great school if you're interested in doing ANYTHING in the medical field. I was once a history major before I was an accounting major but it gives you a broad experience on what's upcoming in the future. Department professors are always there to help you when it comes to anything. There are also specific on campus organizations that help you with internships. I'm a double major---Political Science/ Spanish. I love being in such a small department. You get a lot of personalized help and the career service office loves to help you, However, the science majors have a lot more opportunities for research and scholarships. Either way going to Xavier is beneficial, because of all the leadership opportunities,free tutoring labs, career and study abroad help, and friendly classmates. Being a Biology/Pre-Medicine major is like a map here. The work is up to par and opportunities are endless for help and guidance. There is really almost no possible way to fail unless you're just not doing what you're supposed to be doing because professors and other students are always available to get you through.*
