1、準備英語考試
英語是一門交流工具，英聯(lián)邦國家像英國，澳大利亞等需考雅思(IELTS)，北美國家像美國，加拿大考托福(TOEFL)。如果去美國讀研，加考GRE，念MBA，考GMAT。去英聯(lián)邦國家雅思一項就夠了，考英語考試是需要重點準備的，也是招生辦最看重的,最信的材料。
2、申請大學
這和申請哪國家相對應(yīng)，一般最先決定去哪個國家，這涉及到準備何種英語。申請大學與專業(yè)，大學申請根據(jù)自身條件分幾個梯度好的，與自己現(xiàn)狀對稱的，保底的三檔，一共申請5~6所。然后先擇其中一所自己認為比較好的大學，然后先擇專業(yè)，一般與自己背景一致或相關(guān)背景。

一、留學成本
出國留學一定要考慮留學成本，英、美、澳三個國家留學一年總花費20萬左右，加拿大留學費用會稍微低一些，但一年也要十幾二十萬。不過去俄羅斯、日本、韓國、新加坡、馬來西亞等國家留學會比較便宜。所以，出國留學一定要結(jié)合家庭經(jīng)濟情況量力而行。
二、學校類型

四、地理位置
一定要提前了解目標大學在國外的地理位置，因為地理位置對學費、生活費用都有影響，一般偏離政治、經(jīng)濟中心的城市，學費和消費會低一些。當然也要考慮氣候變化，以便做好出國前準備。
五、語言成績
語言是出國留學的基本條件，出國留學一定要有語言成績的，并且要達到各國留學標準，比如雅思6.5分，托福90分以上，韓語3級以上，日語N3級。如果沒有語言成績，需要在國內(nèi)讀留學預(yù)科，獲得出國讀語學院。雖然有兩種選擇，但還是建議大家在國內(nèi)讀留學預(yù)科，因為國內(nèi)預(yù)科采用的是雙語過渡式教學，能讓零基礎(chǔ)、基礎(chǔ)差學生提升更快。而國外語學院都是全外語教學，學生很難適應(yīng)，學習效率低，不能很快升到本科讀專業(yè)課程。

In my experience and research，such organizations tend to have low operating efficiency with the employees losing their innate ability to take the initiative.
