托福獨立在寫作滿分是多少

獨立作文和綜合寫作滿分都是5分,兩個的平均分和30分有個對應(yīng)關(guān)系,比如如果平均分是4分的話,對應(yīng)的作文分數(shù)就是25分,也就是說如果獨立作文得5分,綜合寫作3分,平均就是4分,最后作文就是25,獨立4分,綜合4分的話最后也是25分。5分和30分的對應(yīng)表網(wǎng)上可以查的到,OG上也有。新動態(tài)為您解答

以下僅就語法問題修正如下:
The arguments of both the writer and the lecturer are focusedon the use of clay vessels for electricity production. The writer presents his assumptionsagainst its existence in three aspects including the [blackness?] ofmetal wires and conductors, the findings in a similar city and the limited knowledgeabout electricity at that time. However, the lecturer strongly opposes all ofhis assumptions.
The writer starts with his first assumption that thesevessels cannot be used for power generation because there is no evidence showingthe existence of conductors and metal wires. The lecturer, however, objects himby pointing out that those vessels were dug out by local people and just threwthem away because they thought them of no use. Therefore, it is unconvincing asnobody knows the truth.
Then the writer mentions an exploratory report about theuse of another city nearby the city in discussion and further mentions that scientistsfound no evidence showing copper cylinders were used for assembly like holdingsacred. But the lecturer opposes to it, saying it does not prove anything [becauseone thing can do a similar thing and can surely adapt any other one這句不知所云].
Finally, the writer thinks that ancient people do notneed electricity because they do not have any electrical appliance. But thelecturer thinks electricity is very useful for ancient people especially fordoctors as they may need it to heal pains from muscles and bones, and it isalso beneficial to those who want to show magic power to others in order to provetheir power. It is therefore pretty useful.
In summary, the lecturer and the writer are contradictorywith each other on this topic.

Task:It has been said, “Not everything that is learned is contained in books.” Compare and contrast knowledge gained from experience with knowledge gained from books. In your opinion, which source is more important? Why?.

We all crave knowledge, especially in this Age of Information, but what is the best source of knowledge? Are we to believe Albert Camus, who stated” The place we are to get knowledge is in books”? Or are we better served by following Albert Einstein's counsel that “The only source of knowledge is experience”? Although books have their place in one's learning, there is no substitute for experience; indeed, it is experience that is ultimately the most important source of knowledge.

First, let us consider the knowledge needed to undertake a profession-for example, that of a physician. Knowledge gained from books provides the foundation of a doctor's training: study in a medical school begins with a near-overload of reading on anatomy, physiology and maladies both rare and common. However, during this time the medical student is also learning through experience, beginning with dissecting cadavers from almost the first day of medical school. Then, the aspiring physician must complete four years of residency, consisting of actual supervised experience at a hospital in which he or she now must put into practice all of the knowledge he or she has edge of dealing with patients, prescribing medication, and the joy and sadness of saving and losing patients; in other words, it is through experience that these residents finally learn what it means to be a doctor.

What about knowledge other than professional expertise-for example, knowledge about another culture? In this realm as well, both books and real-life experience enrich and edify us. For example, Paris is perhaps the most talked-about and written-about city in the world. We could read Hemingway's A Moveable Feast, in which he describes the excitement and intellectual spirit-as well as the restaurants and plentiful red wine-of Paris in the 1920's. Or, we could travel to Paris and eat at bistros, walk across the Pont Neuf and look at the river Seine, visit the Louvre museum, and have adventures of our own. Clearly, most people would have attained more lasting and vivid knowledge by visiting Paris on their own rather than reading about it secondhand.

In summary, experience, rather than books, is more central to our quest for learning, especially with regard to professional expertise. With regard to learning about another culture, experience is also irreplaceable. Yet not everyone in the world will have the health or financial resources to carry out a trip to Paris. But many people have access to a local library where they can borrow A Moveable Feast and, at no cost, read Hemingway's vibrant descriptions of Paris. We cannot forget the complementary and unique knowledge afforded by books, but experience is the most precious source of knowledge.

He went through laborious trial and error, but it was on account of luck that he looked at the mold on a piece of cheese and got the idea for penicillin there and then. Benjamin Franklin had been trying to prove his idea that lightning and electricity is the same thing, but it was only in flying a kite that he proved it and the concept of a lightning rod happened to strike him.

Also, luck helps people become famous. Let us consider young authors. Many work hard to learn to write. For example, they take writing classes. Besides, they work at menial jobs so as to survive and gain experience. Then one day a lucky writer may have piece of writing published and attract public attention. Or the writer meets an editor at the right time and place. Years of continuous writing brings the writer to the door of success, but one lucky chance, like the shot in soccer, eventually helps him or her reap success.

Finally, luck has helped many people secure jobs. One may spend much time writing and sending resumes, reading recruiting ads, and going to job interviews. One may pond the pavement for a long time before getting a job. However, it is with luck that a job hunter meets the person who will offer a position to him or her, or learns of a vacancy that is not advertised. Being at the right place at the right time often helps one land a job, and this has all to do with luck. One can hardly succeed without hard work, but hard work without luck often leads to nothing. Luck has a great number of people find success. In fact, luck goes hand in hand with hard work.

Moreover, teachers supplement the textbook material with information provide by guest speakers, which further enhances students' understanding. All this implies that, if students are absent from class, it is tantamount to forfeiting their right to full benefits of teacher-guided learning in class. Going to classes also helps students learn how to work with their classmates. In class, students need to put forward their ideas. They have to take questions from their classmates and when their classmates have a different point of view, they have to defend their own. All this is conducted in a friendly manner. Interaction of this kind teaches students about how to work with other people.

Finally, going to classes enables students to develop responsibility. Having to finish all the assigned readings before class helps prepare them for getting a job. So does the requirement of being punctual for class. Similarly, having to complete assignment on time for class helps them to foster responsibility.

Admittedly, students can obtain information from books, but they benefit a great deal more when they go to classes. They have the advantage of learning from their teacher, of interacting with other people, and of developing the responsibility required of a good worker as well as a good student. If these skills in life are in no sense optional, how can attending classes in a university be optional?

There is a famous saying, "no pain no gain." Learning and this stage is extremely efficient and our problem solving skills well increase. 托福寫作28分是怎么做到的

這位同學(xué)你好!
托福的分數(shù)分為四個檔次,18分以下,19-22,23-25,25以上。
各檔次的分數(shù)解讀是這樣的:
18分以下,獨立寫作有嚴(yán)重的語法錯誤,基本詞不達意;綜合寫作基本沒能寫出三個聽力要點中的任何一個要點。
19-22:獨立寫作基本能讓讀者看懂作者要表達的意思,字數(shù)夠,有結(jié)構(gòu),但是例證對于觀點的支持度不夠,說白了就是例子的說服力很弱,至于19還是22,主要還是在這個基礎(chǔ)上的語法錯誤多少決定。綜合寫作可以聽出2個到3個要點,但是描述得不夠清晰,細節(jié)缺失。
23-25:獨立寫作已經(jīng)復(fù)合了考試大綱里的大部分要求,主要問題出現(xiàn)在句型結(jié)構(gòu)多樣性和詞匯多樣性。綜合寫作主要是細節(jié)有缺失。
25分以上:獨立寫作文筆流暢,具有很強的語法功底,體現(xiàn)出語言的多樣性和一些很地道的書面表達,詞匯豐富。綜合寫作聽力內(nèi)容的轉(zhuǎn)述基本完整。

Both the article and the professor address the same topic about the uses of electronic medical record systems. The article puts forward that storing patients' medical records in electronic databases has several advantages over traditional paper-based record keeping. However, professor hold opposite opinion towards this statement by providing three sub-points.
Firstly, the author claims that the use of electronic records can help reduce costs by saving money on storing and transferring medical records. Moreover, doctors will be able to access the records and use them from everywhere without copying, faxing or transporting paper records from one location to another. On the contrary, the professor refutes the argument by saying that most doctors of hospitals with electronic medical record systems are still using paper records for emergency or legal uses. So they still have to pay for paper, which means that the system cannot help reducing costs.
Secondly, the professor disapproves of the argument in the article that electronic medical records will help doctors reduce the chances of medical errors caused by illegible handwriting, improper transcriptions of data, or nonstandard organization of paper records. Instead, she explains that since doctors still use paper-based materials and write on them, staffs who transfer information on paper to electronic records still have to interpret what the doctor had written. However, in this process, it is possible that poor handwriting is misinterpreted.
Thirdly, in order to refute the view in the reading passage that electronic medical records can aid medical research by collecting large amounts of data from records, which is impossible before because of thousands of patients' paper records, the professor argues that the access to use patients' records are strictly limited by privacy laws of United States. If researchers need these materials, they will have to follow strict procedures to apply for the permissions. However, patients will be able to block any permissions to access their records, which makes impossible for researchers to use their records.
獨立寫作范文:
The best way to improve quality of education is to increase the teachers’ salaries.
Nowadays, people are more concerned about whether should schools increase the teachers’ salaries in order to improve quality of education. As teachers need money, many people claim that the best way to improve quality of education is to increase the teacher’s salaries. However, the others hold the opposite views because they believe that since there are some teachers who pay little attention to their salaries, schools ought to spend money in enhancing facilities in school and laboratories and teachers will love this new equipment. From my perspective, it is not wise to only take account of one side of this issue. Actually, whether the best way to improve quality of education is to increase teachers’ salaries depends on which aspect teachers attach great importance to.
It is true that for those teachers who are under great finance pressure and need money, increasing their salaries is a good way to encourage them enhance the quality of their teaching. For instance, my mathematics teacher once told me his experience. When he graduated from his university, similar to many young outsiders in metropolis, he stayed in a small and undeveloped country. The unprosperous cold city greeted him with lots of hardship. For one thing, his living expense, a big pressure under him, was very high in there. To be specific, he spent around sixty thousand dollars in paying the house. Also, he had to pay for the electricity, water fee. Therefore, he was under much pressure. During that time, the president of the school told him that he would earn a higher salary, but he must devote more time in teaching and improve the quality of his teaching. He then accepted with much enthusiasm, feeling inspired and wanting to teach his students more and to be a good teacher.
However, never should we be blind to the fact that increasing salaries will not make teachers who prefer other things such as experiments and researches and who come from affluent backgrounds felt obliged to improve their quality of education. My brother, a chemistry teacher who show little interest in earning money, can be served as a vivid example. He is always busy. As at least three hours’ practicing in the laboratory tops his plans, he doesn’t consider other things at all. Even at the weekend, he has to use computer center to write his papers. Limited by these old art facilities, he hopes the university to buy new devices. Moreover, many facilities in his university are too old to use and if university update them, he will be very happy and improve his quality of teaching.
In brief, I disagree with this statements that the best way to improve quality of education is to increase the teachers’ salaries simply because it ignores one side of this issue.

聽得清楚,才能說的清楚。最好的方式就是新東方推薦的,找一個智能斷句復(fù)讀機,把托福og、delta放進去,一句一句聽,聽不懂的,變速到最慢,什么連音、吞音、變音全部暴露出來,然后仿,仿完了看看自己仿的是什么單詞(對書),60%以上的可能,自己仿的這個單詞是自己以前就認識的,為什么聽不懂,是因為以前沒有用美語練過耳朵。這樣堅持40-60個小時,聽力、口語基本上可以上22,不上就奇怪了。
AMERICAN ACCENT TRAINING書非常好。智能斷句復(fù)讀機和這本書、OG、Delta都是配套使用得(可以直接點頁碼播放)。但是托福準(zhǔn)備階段不推薦你看,因為里面得題材很偏,書也比較厚,看起來很花時間,主要是口音訓(xùn)練的,建議考完托福,出國前矯正口音,用這個。如果的確有心提高下語音,建議看賴世雄得美語音標(biāo),也配有mp3音頻,可以仿音用,很短,并且是講座式得,特別適合自學(xué)矯正口音,是一種短平快得方式。如果真的時間很充足,就用AMERICAN ACCENT TRAINING訓(xùn)練,這本書最系統(tǒng)?,F(xiàn)在新東方出得這本書中文名字叫《美語發(fā)音13秘訣》。看你自己的時間情況了。
