莫笑農(nóng)家臘酒渾，

Don't laugh at the muddy wine brewed by farmers in the 12th lunar month

豐年留客足雞豚。

Guests are entertained with enough chicken and pork in a bumper year

山重水復疑無路，

Across multiple hills and winding brooks,I doubt if there’s a path to go

柳暗花明又一村。

Suddenly another village appears amid clustering willows and bright blossoms

簫鼓追隨春社近，

Villagers play the vertical flute and beat the drum when Spring Sacrifice Day nears

衣冠簡樸古風存。

Dressed simply,they still maintain the ancient custom

從今若許閑乘月，

If I have free time to travel in the moonlight in the future

拄杖無時夜叩門。

I will come leaning on my walking stick,knocking at your door

【白話譯文】

莫笑農(nóng)家臘月釀的酒是渾濁的

豐收年村民們以豐盛的菜肴待客

山巒重疊溪水蜿蜒，我正擔心無路可走

一個山村出現(xiàn)在茂密柳林明艷花叢中

春社日臨近，村民們吹簫打鼓

他們衣冠簡樸，淳樸的古代風俗猶存

若是今后有閑暇趁月色游逛

我會拄著拐杖隨時來敲你的家門

【注釋】

1）臘酒：臘月里釀造的酒。

2）足雞豚（tún）：準備了豐盛的菜肴。足：豐盛。豚，小豬，代指豬肉。

3）山重水復：山巒重疊水流曲折。

4）柳暗花明：柳色深綠，花色明艷。

5）簫鼓：吹簫打鼓。

6）春社：古代把立春后第五個戊日做為春社日，拜祭社神（土地神）和谷神，祈求豐收。

7）古風存：淳樸的古代風俗猶存。

8）若許：如果這樣。

9）閑乘月：空閑時趁著月光旅行。

10）無時：不確定的時候。

11）叩門：敲門，登門拜訪。
